It is not famous for anything that I know of. Outside of dogs I produce breed yearbooks for Staffords and French bulldogs, so other than football, a lot of my life is dog related. I have been involved with Staffords since 1977 and judging since 1979. I am really a Stafford man through and through although I am very proud of the fact that I will be judging border terriers at champ show level for the first time this year. I live in a county that is part of the greater makeup of Atlanta. Beading has become one of my passions—I love bling, and now I can make my own. I knit, crewel and especially enjoy classical music. When I’m in town on the weekends that the New York Met streams their Saturday afternoon operas, believe me, I’m in that theater
seat listening and watching. I started in purebred dogs on our first wedding anniversary at least a hundred and three years ago. We got a Wire Fox Terrier from a pet breeder, real- ized he didn’t look much like the pictures of quality dogs, and so decided we should attend the Atlanta Kennel Club dog show in downtown Atlanta. What a shock! The dogs were gorgeous! And a man was in the middle of the ring with a dog on the table and, by golly, he was getting to touch and play with every one of them!
