MCADAMS I live in Denton County, Texas. My breed is the Miniature American Shepherd. I’ve been exhibiting dogs in conformation since late 2007. I’ve been a Breeder/Owner Handler since 2010. BARBARA MCNEIL I live in Oklahoma City. My breed is German Shorthaired Pointers. I’ve been showing for 32 years: 12 years in German Shorthairs and 20 in Collies. CHERYL MECHALKE I live in Colorado and have been exhibiting 13 years.
While my military career took me around the world, I presently call North- ern Virginia home. Airedales are my pri- mary breed; I have always had Airedales in my life. My parents were breeder Owner Handlers of Airedales, starting in the 1950’s. Showing was a family activ- ity, and I started exhibiting at a young age. I fondly recall showing an Airedale brace in 1972 at Montgomery when I was 10 years old.
My children (ages 10, 14 and 17) and I have Airedales, a Russell Terrier and a West Highland White Terrier. As an adult, I put exhibiting on hold to devote time to my family and career. I recently started exhibiting again with nice wins at the Airedale Terrier Specialties Bucks/Trenton weekend in May 2017. The Specialties that weekend—re-connecting with people I knew years earlier, and the richly rewarding experi- ences in the ring, propelled me to continue to show as an Owner Handler. CYNDI OLSON

I live in Minneapolis Minnesota. My dogs are all Border Terriers. I have been showing for 12 years. Prior to that I had grown up showing hors- es, and then showed dogs in the 80s, taking a break to raise a family. PAMELA PRESTON I live in Northern California in the foothills between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. My breed is Bos- ton Terriers I’ve been exhibiting 17+ years in Bostons and before that I had Great Danes for many years.
