AGILITY I t is a team e ff ort which takes train- ing and consistency. What better way to put the energy, work ethic, intelligence and great attitude of the Miniature American Shepherd to good use! Th ese small dogs are great athletes with power, speed and a willingness to please, which makes them a dream to work with whether young or old. Agility is an obstacle course consist- ing of dog walks, A-frames, jumps, tun- nels, teeters and weaves, along with a few other obstacles. Th e dogs have certain cri- teria with each obstacle. For example, the contact obstacles such as the dog walk, A-Frame and teeter all have yellow on the bottoms. Th e dogs must touch the yel- low as they are running down or over the
