ROUTE 66 MINIATURE PINSCHER CLUB OF AMERICA NATIONAL SPECIALTY

I t was hot, hot, hot in July in Oklahoma. However, the host hotel and the Reed Center were joined by a hallway so it was not neces- sary to be out in the heat. Good planning by our Board of Directors. Club members were very good about wearing masks and social distancing. Masks were worn at all times, except for eating and drinking. On Monday, the Board met to handle club business. The Board planned this national, moving it from New Mexico to Oklahoma. Tuesday and Wednesday, the Obedience Judge was Ms. Lora Seale. Her HIT was GCH CH Timbear Creek Bohemian Rhapsody, owned by Alicia Fencer and Connie Timmerman. Her Veteran Winner for both days was GCH CH Stormins Smart Alec, owned by Catherine Bailey. Ms. Seale also judged Rally on Tuesday. High Combined was GCH CH Stealth Justified CD PCD BN RAE CAA DN SWN CGCU TRI, owned by Coleen Crowley. Wednesday’s High Combined was Ripley’s You Are My Lucky Star, owned by Alicia Fencer. High Triple Q on Tuesday and Wednesday was GCH CH Stealth Justified CD PCD BN RAE CAA DN SWN CGCU TRI. Tuesday’s Futurity Judge was Lafayette McGowan, and his winners were Marlex Fired Up, owned by Armando Angelbello; Best of Oppo- site was Hat Trick’s Brittney Broke Her Halo, owned by Susan Hat- field; Maturity winner was GCH CH Marisol One Cool Cat at Mead- owlake, owned by Melainie Hackett and Karen Fitzpatrick; and Best of Opposite was GCH CH Cheristar’s I am Cybill Shepherd, owned by Cherie McDaniel. Tuesday evening was the Classic Top Twenty. The judges were Mr. Eugene Blake, Jude White and Connie Timmerman. The winner was GCH CH Marisol One Cool Cat at Meadowlake, owned by Melanie Hackett and Karen Fitzpatrick. Reserve winner was GCH CH Mar- lex Sunsprite Rose, owned by Armando Angelbello and Ann Parman. Freestyle winner was GCH CH Eagles The Wolverine, owned by Katie Winters, Sue Griswold and Jacob Waters. Wednesday’s Sweepstakes Judge Cindy Fortin’s winners were Best Pup- py in Sweeps Marisol Cat Man Cool, owned by Melanie Hackett; Best of Opposite was Stonebridges Country Delight, owned by Tom Alexander. Best Junior in Sweeps was Ch Winter-Eagle Ring of Fire, owned by Christy Nelson, Katie Winters and Carolyn Griswold; Best of Opposite was Hat Trick’s Brittney Broke Her Halo, owned by Susan Hatfield.
