HEARTWARMING STORIES FROM THE HEART OF THE DOG SHOW WORLD TALEWAGGERS

BRITTANY PHELPS S

aturday on my way home from the Perry, Georgia shows (not even 15 minutes from the show grounds) we were

involved in a nasty accident caused by the other driver, that sent us slid- ing backwards flipped on the passen- ger side down the interstate. I walked away with nothing but some bruising and all my equipment and dogs made it completely untouched. I will forever be grateful to the amazing 10 plus indi- viduals who stopped and broke into the van to get me out and helped me get all the dogs out to safety. And to my amazing dog family, I don’t know what I would’ve done without them: Klayton Harris and Sarah Janner for coming to get me and the dogs off the side of the road and back to safety, Tracy Szaras and Luiz Antonio Abreu for being like my mom and dad and making sure I had someone to get me and a place to sleep that night and Adriano Rocha and Dani- elle Lessard for getting me back home and lending me your van to get my dogs back to my house safely. I couldn’t have more amazing, sweet and understand- ing clients by my side in this whole thing. Thank you all, you’re amazing. To all the others that have sent good wishes and prayers, I so appreciate it. God truly had his arms around us all in this mess. Safe travels to all.
