“Five?” I asked. Jessica laughed and said, “But they are very small.” “Okay,” I said. So we began the rescue of the Fabulous Five—totally bonded, obviously a family group... darling little Pekes. Now completely vetted and groomed, these adorable ones are now ready to go to their forever homes. All have passed their leash walking and house training classes, plus have gained needed weight. Best words to describe the Fabulous Five is simply loving and joyful Pekies. Please open your hearts and maybe even your home to a Fabulous Five.
Five darling little Pekingese were just left to fend for themselves... abandoned in filth and squalor when their owners were evicted. Luckily, their scratching trying to get out drew the attention of a neighbor. ACO arrived to find five horribly malnourished, filthy little ones. Taken to the large kill shelter in Brooklyn they were fed and some of their hanging mats clipped. Obviously they had been surviving on bugs, rodents, feces, etc. Once stabilized, the shelter's New Hope liaison contacted Pekingese Rescue Network Inc.
(Update) All of the Fabulous Five have been placed in their forever homes. Poppa now lives in Canada, Poppy and Pierre live together in Pennsylvania and Pablo and Porsha live together in New Jersey. All are loved and enjoying the Good Life. Thank you to the families that opened their homes and hearts to these little ones who had su ff ered so much cruelty and neglect early on.
