A t this year’s Montgomery County Kennel Club dog show, held in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, October 8th, exhibitors and spectators could be forgiven for complaining about the weather—yet again. However, the 83rd showing of Terriers at the autumn classic was marred not by torrential rain or a dramatic dip in temperature as in years past, but rather by an oppres- sive humidity that managed to fill the 81-degree air with an overwhelming vapor that sporadically released cas- cades of light rain throughout the day. Naturally, the dogs on parade took things in stride, none more so than a pair of American Staffordshire Terriers that rose above it all to garner two of the most coveted wins in all of dogdom.
