This year’s Specialty is in Asheville, North Carolina on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center. The Ag Center is an indoor show and we are a designated specialty with Hendersonville Kennel Club. Our judge is Connie Clark for our breed judging and Sara Yancey is our Sweepstakes and Veteran Sweepstakes judge. ATCA is having a Futurity Show on Friday evening with breeder judge Jane Tenor. We have

consummate dog person and a fierce competitor—for over 50 years and at least 45 years of breeding Austra- lian Terriers. Rose’s selected kennel name, Yaralla, is an aboriginal word meaning “Gathering of Loved Ones.” Rose’s first Australian Terrier was imported in 1962. She imported five Australian Terriers but generally

preferred to stay within her own line. Australian Terri- ers bred by, sired by or out of the Yaralla line have won almost every award available to purebred dogs (includ- ing, Yaralla’s Rock The Ring’s Group 2 win at the West- minster Kennel Club in 1996). Dogs from Rose’s Yaralla line have been exported to and enriched the breeding pool in many countries, including England, Australia, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Rose’s dogs were her life and Rose says her dogs gave her comfort, pleasure and many, many friends.
