Showsight - May 2018

THIS GROUP, on this page, would take more space than I’ve got left. I intend to share more about each of this top-flight writers and dog experts in the months to come, but at least a shout-out seems richly deserved. BARBARA “BJ” ANDREWS has been on our staff since issue one over twenty-five years ago. She’s never missed a deadline and never disappointed us with her in-depth studies of our dogs’ health and ways that we can improve it. Home to BJ is Rutherfordton, NC. LINDA AYERS TURNER KNORR is another columnist who’s been with us from the start. Linda’s literary contributions are only rivaled by the photographic elements she shares with is that date from early times right up to the present date. A true friend to the dog fancy, Linda is a member of the only father-son-daughter judging team in the fancy. MIKE & CATHY DUGAN bring so much brainpower and expertise to their popular articles that we had to make it a team effort, so as not to overwhelm them with our enthusiasm for their work. Recent addi- tions to our family, Mike & Cathy are extremely valued members of the team. Shingle Springs, CA is home to this popular couple with many years of success in the sport. What can we say about ARLENE CZECH ? Having just celebrated her fiftieth year as an AKC judge and I believe her twenty-fifth year as an AKC Delegate, Arlene’s done everything from showing her own dogs in Obedience to teaching the fine points of the breeds she fancies most. I won’t quote her age but I will say that if the rest of us are half as active as she is at her age, we’ll be very, very lucky. And we’re very lucky to have Arlene on board here at ShowSight. JACQUELINE FOGEL ’s accomplishments could fill a book and luckily her wonderful articles fill our magazine every month. From expert breeder to show chair par excellence, Jackie wears so many other hats that I never fail to be amazed. Love you, Jax! West Bend, WI, is her home but her influence flows far and wide. The list of accolades that attach to ALLAN REZNIK ’s résumé keeps one amazed that he’s accomplished so much and done it all so well. We’ve all enjoyed his work for many years and look forward to many more! I’m sure his home in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, is looking stun- ning in all its spring splendor. Our man DAN SAYERS continues to fascinate and educate us with his monthly contributions, much to our delight. Dan’s talents seem to have no end, from his design background, to his skill as an artist and facility as a writer, Dan’s a true pleasure with whom to work. Mer- chantville, NJ, lays claim to this gentleman although we all like to think of him as a treasured next-door neighbor. BRIAN CORDOVA , one of our top sales people, brings with him a wealth of knowledge both in and out of the ring and a sense of humor that keeps everyone smiling. Perhaps it’s the sunshine in Long Beach, California that keeps him in such a great mood. Or just the fact that he loves dogs just as much as the rest of us. The delightful TAMMY GINCEL, with her quiet demeanor and wry sense of humor is always a welcome voice on the phone or face to see at any show. Another person entrusted with the white-glove treatment of our advertisers, Tammy is alway quick with a smile and a solution to anything that pops up. Nutley, New Jersey is home to this long-time publishing expert.
