and businesses who are valued contributors. Prior to our event, we have selected some items to auction via Face- book. That made fundraising fun and effective. We also depend on the success of our Raffle and Auc- tions. Almost 100% of what is presented has been from donations. One creative use of fundraising over the past five or six years has been our breed 14k gold pendants. Our host regional clubs collected broken 14k gold from members that we use to make these beauti- ful pieces that generate incredible bids. How’s that for creative fundraising! Catalog advertising is very helpful, the sales of catalogs is nominal. Trophy donations are valued and encour- aged. However, they do not always cover the full cost of trophies offered. BT: Most of the income comes from donations, trophy pledges and auctions. ESS: No, the catalogue doesn’t bring in good income. Yes, this year we offered trophies and ribbons for sponsorship and the response was overwhelming. IH: Our income source is from sponsors and donations. No, the catalog is not a source of income, it usually breaks even. IG: Our best fundraising is our silent auction and Top 20 auction we also get trophy donations. GSMD: Fundraising is done mostly through the donations for Trophy Sponsorship, Event Sponsorship and ways and means. We sell logo clothing items for at least a year before the show and this helps to off-set various costs. The Swissy community, both individuals as well as our regional clubs, step up to donate items and money to help pay for the events and make sure we can offer extras like box lunches and beverages at the working events, the food and beverage at the Welcome Party and Top 20 events. NSDTR: Our fundraising comes mostly from raffles and auc- tions. Trophies usually are paid by sponsors.

P: We publish a keepsake catalogue every year plus generous member donations for trophies and towards the general fund. We also have a raffle and an auction. WPG: This year we have sponsors ranging from our premier show sponsor, Purina Pro Plan (including some Trophy/ Prizes), to auction item sponsors. Much of our fundraising is raised from member donations, auction sponsors and self marketing/selling of items like Logo Wear and Specialty Items. 5. Are you offering special events?
