handlers for 25 years and we have now been judging AKC shows for the last 32 years. GLORIA KERR TEDDY MCDOWELL BRIAN MEYER CHUCK MURRAY PAT HASTINGS I’m from Oregon and have been involved in the dog world since 1959. I began my career as an owner-handler, moved into breeding and then teamed up with my late husband, E.R. “Bob” Hastings, in professional handling. Nearly 30 years ago, Bob and I began researching canine structure in order to help breeders more accurately evaluate litters to determine the best lifestyle choice for each puppy. I have evaluated over 40,000 puppies, always took my time to discuss my findings and teach about canine structure. Show and performance people alike respect my expertise. I began judging for AKC in 1991. Besides judging at count- less all-breed shows, I have been honored to judge many Nationals, both here and abroad, including the Doberman

I started in OES in UK in 1971, came to the US with my English husband and started showing in 1973 in AKC shows (three US OES Ch’s). Also showed a special Silky Terrier and owned two Rottweilers from Ireland and two Shar-Peis. Tired of all the grooming, we tried our hand in Whippets, did okay with three Chs and a CD. Then decided in 1978 to move to Bearded Collies though we also owned a Border Collie. I have been in Beardies since then with owning or breed- ing over 50 Chs, Group Winners, placers and BIS. I now judge Herding Group, 2/3 of the Hound Group, Misc, Juniors and BIS. I hope to finish the Hound Group next year. DEBORAH ANTHONY ANNE BOWES HOUSTON CLARK
