Our entire staff takes great delight in putting together this magazine every month. Although the days fly by, we dedi- cate our waking hours (and often many sleeping hours!) in an attempt to out-do our last effort and raise our bar higher and higher. We hope that you’ve seen this upward progress and continue to benefit from it. Perhaps a little insider knowledge about our team might be fun to read. AJ ARAPOVIC , our publisher and CEO, is one of the hardest-working individuals anyone’s ever known. He’s also a stickler for detail and quality and constantly de- mands improvement and as close to perfection as possible. (Well, know all know there’s no such thing as a perfect dog, and there’s probably no such thing as a perfect magazine!) A physical fitness fanatic, AJ is also an extremely talented soccer player and coach and regularly plays in a league in Austin, Texas, his home. HANIFA ARAPOVIC is the lady we call “Super Woman” be- cause there’s nothing she doesn’t do well.She’s incredibly adept as VP of AraMedia, is a gourmet cook, an accom- plished athlete (still getting up at 3 am to work out!) and the doting mother to her two adorable daughters, Iryna & Adrianna. She also has a world-class sense of humor and is a joy to be around. MICHAEL VERAS is another athlete on the team, although most days now he’s confined to his desk with a workload that might fell a lesser fellow, but not our Michael! Multi- lingual and extremely polished in every respect, The com- pany’s COO, Michael’s the go-to guy around here when things get tough.Michael’s a Tampa resident with ties to Miami and NYC. JOSEPH NEIL MCGINNIS III has an unbroken track record of over forty years as editor, author, and publisher in the world of purebred dogs. As Executive Editor Emeritus he adds a wealth of knowledge about the world of publishing and the world of dogs as well. McGinnis has worn about every hat known in our sport, from teaching conformation to chairing large breed and all-breed shows. Joe is also an AKC Judge. SAMANTHA ADKINS has been everyone’s stalwart right- hand woman for many years and we cannot concoct enough accolades for the contributions she makes to our magazines. She and partner Wendy also run a two-woman rescue, it seems, because every time I turn around they’re in possession of yet another frail, elderly, sickly dog that someone else has abandoned and Sam and Wendy have broken their backs (and occasionally their hearts) trying to nurse them back to health. My admiration for their efforts knows no bounds. Samantha lives in Lakeland, FL, the orig- inal home of ShowSight. DANIEL J. CARTIER handles our distribution, websites, and all our Social Media sites in addition to a myriad of other assistance he lends the entire staff. Another multi-rescue owner, Daniel and partner David have a collection of dogs that keep them and their friends laughing all day long— which is lucky since Daniel’s job is demanding and need a break like that now and then. A resident of the Nashville area, Daniel’s also an accomplished performer and record- ing artist.
