TO THE PARENT CLUBS: Please understand that we are not your competition. We are not interested in keeping viewers on our site. We are simply making an introduction to your breed through the technology that we work with day in and day out. We are not selling any- thing. We simply know how to make connections, so when a viewer lands on a BREED MAGAZINE they will be redirected to the parent club’s website—with the club’s permission. It is critical, therefore, that all breed information that’s available online is accurate and up-to-date. Each BREED MAGAZINE will feature a “cover page” with your club’s logo, club officers contact info, and one-to-five breed- typical photos as well as any pertinent breed-specific information. The introductory page may include links to various web pages that you want the audience to be directed to. To assist you and your club, we’re reaching out to the Board of Directors of every single AKC Parent Club. (If you haven’t heard from us yet, you will very soon.) More than half of the clubs we’ve spoken with already have shared their concerns about the BREED MAGAZINES and have been satisfied with the details we’ve provided. The reaction has been overwhelmingly “wow-Wow-WOW!” on both ends. (As of 8/12/21, we’ve spoken with over 130 parent clubs whose members are eager to provide articles on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis.) Please don’t make any assumptions before speaking with us directly. Your digital BREED MAGAZINE will reach the widest possible audience—and the best part is IT’S FREE! SHOWSIGHT reserves the right to decline materials submitted for publication in the BREED MAGAZINES. And although we vet every submission, we do occasionally “miss” something… and this is why we have you. Please reach out to us if you discover anything that is inaccurate and in need of revision or removal. (We will not reply to communications that do not have verifiable proof of error.) Please note that anyone who intentionally submits false information for either editorial pages or a personal kennel advertise- ment will automatically be banned from our platform. Since we do not intend to cause any harm, we will not shame anyone publicly, as everyone has their own reasons for their behavior—good or bad. We will, however, refuse those individuals from contributing to the BREED MAGAZINES. Our MARKETING of the BREED MAGAZINES will be clear and “on point.” Every single guest who visits our site or sees our promos will understand that they are being provided an education in purebred dogs by the sport’s best and brightest. If they are a visitor looking to join our community (or just own a beautiful and healthy purebred dog) they will quickly understand just how fortunate they are to have been connected with genuine preservation breeders. It is not that we just want to help puppy buyers get a great dog; we want them to choose the right breed too. This is why it is crucial for every single BREED MAGAZINE to include all educational materials within the next four-to-twelve months. This will help puppy people make the right decisions toward finding their next purebred dog. It is our honest opinion that anyone who cares about the preservation of purebred dogs will care enough to help us make this endeavor a huge success. TO THE PRESERVATION BREEDERS: The methods for promoting purebred dogs has been transformed by the Internet. Social media platforms have drastically altered the way our sport is marketed to the general public. In the last 24 months alone—not to mention the last decade—every- thing has changed dramatically. Everything that you do to promote your breed(s) as a preservation purebred dog breeder depends on your marketing efforts utilizing the power of current technologies. We think it’s appropriate to consider the BREED MAGAZINES your exclusive magazine! As we’ve noted, we intend to keep things positive. We won’t be bashing puppy mills or those who produce mixed-breeds. (Everyone has their own reasons why they do what they do.) We will simply focus on effectively promoting the community of preservation breeders to an audience that is confused about the information they find online. We are committed to helping OUR cause, which is the promotion and preservation of happy, health-tested purebreds. Although the focus of the BREEED MAGAZINES will consider ways to increase participation in the sport of dogs by making it more accessible to everyone online, this is not our only goal. As a matter of fact, our site provides educational material for Judges and Parent Club Educational Chairs as well as those exhibitors who are looking to become preservation breeders them- selves. The articles that appear in the BREED MAGAZINES have been provided by many of the sport’s most well-respected breeders and judges. Much of the content can be found nowhere else. And as our site continues to grow, we want to be able to offer even more accurate information so that existing breeders and judge (and those who are interested in judging or breeding) have easy access to as much educational material as possible. We will be proudly marketing our BREED MAGAZINES to all AKC, FCI, CKC & UK judges and breeders, and anyone else who is searching for a purebred dog. Our goal is to promote your interests in the sport of dogs (Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Field Trials, Agility, Dock Diving, Barn Hunt, and every other competitive endeavor) to a local, national, and international audience.
